Management Principles to the Environment
Kanatsu, as a company of doing business globally in this age of environmental problems　diffused worldwide, will continue making efforts to harmonize our business of planning,　production, distribution, trading and all related activities with conservation of the environment. 　Realizing the responsibility of manufacturer to meet the need of new era, we will keep offering reliable quality products in consideration of the environment, create an affluent society, and contribute to the environmental improvements of the earth.
Our Basic Principle to the Environment
Kanatsu, in our business activity of planning, development, purchasing, production, storage and sales, will continue activity of Environmental Management Systems based on ISO 14001 2004 in order to reduce environmental burden.
Guiding Principles
(1) We will establish an Environmental Management System in accordance with requirements of related environmental preservation laws, make periodical improvements including review, and reduce environmental burden.
(2) We will make efforts in three basic principles namely, energy and resource saving by reduction of waste; Green purchasing; reduction of environmental burden to reduce these environmental burden.
Three principles for action REDUCE Control of natural resources and saving REUSE Re-use of resources RECYCLE Continuous recycling of manufactured products & materials
(3) We will pursue development of environmentally friendly quality products in consideration of an assessment of the effect on the environment.
(4) We will enforce the assessment of the effect on the environment at our Tokyo factory in process of manufacturing to keep improvements in environmental control for reduction of environmental burden.
(5) In order to achieve company policy, all departments will set up each environmental target, maintain Environmental Management System, and keep continuous improvements.
These guiding principles are to upgrade awareness of environmental preservation with all directors and employees, release this objective to our customers and suppliers upon request, and contribute to the achievement of environmental objective of “preservation of environment” and “formation of recycling society”.
